How to Make Falsa Sherbat


  • Falsa  (1 cup)
  • Water (1/2 cup)
  • Black salt (according to your taste)
  • Sugar (two teaspoons)
  • Lemon juice (1 small lemon)
  • Salt (according to your taste)
  • Ice cubes


  1. First wash and drain the falsa, sprinkle a little table salt and leave them for half an hour.
  2. Take the blender and blend all the ingredients mentioned above. Pour it into a container and add some crushed ice cubes.
  3. Add a few leaves of mint to elevate the taste further.

How to Make Sattu Sherbat


  • Chana Sattu (1/2 cup)
  • Chilled water (4 cups)
  • Lemon juice  (2 teaspoons)
  • Roasted Cumin powder  (Half teaspoon)
  • Mint leaves (2 teaspoons chopped)
  • Black salt (to taste)
  • Green chilli (1 chopped)
  • Ice cubes


  1. Add all ingredients in a jug and mix well.
  2. Serve in glasses with some ice cubes.
  3. Garnish with mint leaves.

How to Make Mango Juice


  • Ripe mangoes (2)
  • Chilled Water (1 cup)
  • Sugar (as per your taste)
  • Ice cubes


  1. Peel and cut the mangoes into small pieces.
  2. Blend them with water and sugar.
  3. Run the mixture through a sieve.
  4. Add ice cubes and serve chilled.

How to Make Iced Tea


  • Water (2 cups)
  • Tea bags ( flavoured as per your choice)

  1. Bring two cups of water to boil.
  2. Pour two tea bags of your choice into water. Brew it light or strong as per your liking.

  2. Add chilled water and milk to reach the consistency you like.

In hot weather, one opts for lighter food with lots of fruit and vegetables that provide nutrition but is not heavy on the stomach. Here are some delicious and energizing dishes to fight the heat that can make the difference between a good or a bad day.


Falooda is a very refreshing and popular local ice-cream drink made from milk, vermicelli noodles, sabja, tutti frutti, and sugar. It’s a very popular dish and used to beat the scorching heat. Shikanji (Lemonade)
